Due to the expansion of our Design / Build Department, we are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design/build HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects from conceptual design to final construction documents. Collaborate with team members on assigned projects. Participate in design meetings with Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, and subcontractors. Visit sites of new construction and remodeling projects. Qualifications include most (if not all) of the following: A degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of related experience. Proficiency in HVAC, piping, and plumbing design. Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to develop mechanical plans, collaborate with designers, and guide projects from concept through construction drawings. Proactive collaboration with project managers to ensure projects stay on time and within budget. Leadership and project management skills. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including building, mechanical, energy, and ASHRAE guidelines. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Experience with Trane 3D Plus or similar load calculation software. Certifications such as PE, LEED are a plus.
