Technical Specialist/Patent Agent – Life Sciences

REQUIREMENTS
A strong scientific background and Ph.D. in a relevant life sciences discipline (e.g., molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, and immunology) are required. For technical professionals, desire to take the patent bar exam or those applying as registered Patent Agents desired but not required. Previous experience with patent prosecution, office actions and working in a fast-paced law firm environment is preferred. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and communication skills, practical critical-thinking skills, and the desire and ability to work across various technologies. In addition, candidates must possess the following outstanding skills and attributes:
Great communication skills (verbal and written);
Collaborative team player able to work well with others;
Self-motivated; and
Understanding of project and process management.
