Salary Range: $60,000~ Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and reliable Office Operations Coordinator to lead day-to-day operations and help foster a safe, welcoming, and vibrant coworking environment at DG717. This full-time, in-person role combines essential office coordination with opportunities to contribute to a dynamic community that bridges Japanese and local entrepreneurial cultures in San Francisco. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational and communication skills, a passion for hospitality and operational excellence, and a friendly presence that enhances the daily experience for members, tenants, and guests. The Office Operations Coordinator ensures smooth daily operations at our DG717 coworking facility while supporting community engagement initiatives. This role combines essential administrative functions with opportunities to contribute to our vibrant workspace culture that bridges Japanese and local entrepreneurial communities. You'll play a key supporting role in making DG717 an efficient, welcoming environment for all. Role Objectives Ensure seamless day-to-day operations and facility management Maintain a clean, safe, functional, and well-stocked office environment Support coworking member satisfaction and foster positive community engagement Contribute to events and cultural initiatives that enrich the DG717 experience Serve as the go-to person for internal logistics and external inquiries Provide reliable administrative support that enables productive operations Support community engagement activities and maintain positive tenant relationships Assist with events and initiatives that enhance the DG717 experience Key Responsibilities Operations Management Greet and assist visitors; manage calls and general inquiries with professionalism and warmth Oversee mail/package handling and vendor coordination (supplies, IT, maintenance, catering, etc.) Maintain inventory and reorder office, kitchen, and janitorial supplies as needed Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards across shared spaces Provide light tech and meeting room support (e.g., AV setup, printer troubleshooting) Assist with space planning, workstation preparation, and onboarding of new coworking members and internal staff Community Support & Events Act as the friendly face of DG717—welcome members and guests, provide tours, and promote community values Support and help coordinate in-house events including happy hours, workshops, DG's annual conference, and special events Assist with community communications, event logistics, and social media updates Help foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and inclusion among members Administrative Support Serve as a liaison with HQ in Japan for visitor coordination and event logistics Help with light record-keeping, expense tracking, and administrative support for the accounting team Support cross-functional teams on special projects and communications as assigned Qualifications and Skills Required: 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, reception, or customer service roles Strong communication skills with attention to detail Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks Professional, friendly demeanor with customer service orientation Proficiency with G Suite and MS Office applications Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred: Familiarity with Japanese culture or international business environments Experience in coworking, shared offices, or hospitality settings Basic event planning and community engagement experience Japanese/English bilingual skills (a plus, not required) Professional, friendly communication style that creates a welcoming environment Reliability and adaptability in a dynamic workplace Discretion when handling confidential information Strong relationship-building skills and cultural awareness Initiative to learn and take on new responsibilities What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Paid time off and holiday schedule Professional development and growth opportunities Access to DG717's coworking community, events, and networking Exposure to Japanese culture and cross-border innovation Company Description Digital Garage is a Tokyo- and San Francisco-based internet group combining strengths in Information Technology (IT), Marketing Technology (MT), and Financial Technology (FT) to create innovative digital solutions across borders.
