About the Role
As a Store Manager, youll be responsible for the total omni customer experience in your store, ensuring high visual and commercial standards according to store format, location, and global & regional strategies. You will lead the full store team to excel, creating an inclusive culture that promotes collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit. Youll analyze sales and follow up to create plans to optimize results and profits.
A Day in the Life
Working at H&M means no two days are the same, but typical responsibilities include:
Managing the total omni customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial standards
Representing the brand positively during all customer interactions
Establishing, analyzing, and following up on sales and budget goals
Providing personal customer service and guiding customers through fashion stories
Promoting our Customer Loyalty App and sustainability initiatives
Scheduling to budgeted hours and managing store routines
Maintaining store maintenance and stock levels
Ensuring routines for fitting rooms and checkout are followed
Identifying commercial opportunities and maintaining competitor awareness
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Keeping up-to-date with fashion trends, styles, brands, and competitors
Ensuring team provides product and fashion knowledge to customers
Understanding the local area, customers, and fashion trends
Team & Development
Recruiting, onboarding, and developing your team
Conducting performance evaluations and succession planning
Sharing knowledge and skills with your team
Collaborating with the area team and store leadership
Managing planning and scheduling
Communicating regularly to motivate and inform staff
Retail Operations & Visual Execution
Maintaining a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house
Ensuring high-quality visual presentation and garment care
Managing stock levels and store routines
Supporting daily opening and closing routines
Maintaining in-store tech services and price signage
Qualifications

Confident in coaching and developing teams
Ambitious, effective communicator, analytical, and good with numbers
Relevant leadership and retail management experience

Compensation: $65,397.21 - $76,187.75 annually
EEOC Code: OFM; Pay Status: Salary, Non-Exempt (Exempt in top locations)
