Elder Program Manager
to oversee programs for seniors. The role involves planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating wellness programs tailored to the needs of our senior residents, aligning with RTH's mission and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a passion for community wellness. Responsibilities: Program: Research and adopt best practices and innovative program models. Assist in annual program planning, including outcomes and evaluation development. Engage community through neighborhood planning and building efforts. Maintain senior center facilities to support program participation. Administrative: Ensure safety, staffing, and equipment readiness of the senior center and programs. Supervise staff, work-study students, and volunteers, including recruitment, training, and evaluation. Provide excellent customer service and foster a positive, safe environment. Keep accurate records and respond promptly to inquiries and complaints. Monitor program budgets and explore funding opportunities. Ideal Candidate: Prioritizes safety and embodies RTH core values. Builds relationships and communicates effectively with residents, staff, and volunteers. Provides feedback, coaching, and support to team members. Demonstrates flexibility and multitasking ability. Is creative, resourceful, and community-oriented. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in gerontology or related field. Minimum 1 year experience in aging services or similar. Experience managing volunteer programs. Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Culturally competent with diverse populations. End Result: Deliver safe, engaging wellness programs for seniors. Enhance the effectiveness of the Senior Department in fulfilling RTH's mission.
