This role is ideal for a seasoned procurement professional who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment, supporting multiple programs through strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management. The Manager, Procurement will lead procurement efforts from requirements gathering through contract execution, ensuring efficient supply chain operations and compliance with acquisition policies. This position offers an opportunity to influence high-impact projects while working remotely within a supportive team that values accountability and innovation. The role involves regular interaction with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet complex business needs. Accountabilities: Lead procurement activities including sourcing strategies based on drawings, specifications, and purchase history. Review and manage Statements of Work (SOW) documents and Requests for Quotations/Proposals. Conduct price and cost analysis, develop negotiation strategies, and address contractual exceptions. Prepare and document purchase orders following internal procedures. Manage post-award contract activities and supplier performance in collaboration with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Build and maintain professional relationships with first-tier subcontractors. Support occasional business travel up to 10%. University degree with typically 8+ years of relevant procurement, supply chain, or management experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years relevant experience. U.S. citizenship or eligibility to obtain necessary export authorizations is mandatory. Experience in government procurement preferred. Familiarity with SAP/PRISM or similar ERP environments. Proficient in contract management including Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price, and proposal compliance assessment (FAR 15.4). Strong skills in price cost analysis and supplier proposal evaluation. Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS). Ability to lead formal negotiations regarding price, schedule, and contract terms. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic settings. Competitive salary range from $101,000 to $203,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
