Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking Sr. Software Engineers for our Chicago, IL location. Responsibilities include analyzing, developing, and testing software applications, coding using Java technologies, creating and executing unit test plans, developing technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements, researching technical solutions to business problems, participating in discussions on functional and technical specifications, creating and executing integration test plans, supporting post-deployment and defect fixing. Technical Environment: Java, J2EE, JBOSS, SQL, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Spring, Hibernate; Drools; Rest/SOAP API; enterprise applications and web services in open-source frameworks; building UI portals using Javascript frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular); databases (Oracle SQL, NoSQL such as Dynamo, Mongo); algorithms, data structures; unit testing with JUnit; Unix/Linux; backend systems and web-based applications; JMS components (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka); WebLogic/JBoss servers; CI/CD; distributed computing solutions; version control (Git, SVN); Maven; Jenkins; TDD; cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google); Agile methodologies. #LI-DNI #NOINDEED Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems/Technology, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field plus 2 years of software development experience.
