Responsibilities
Lead or support full-cycle BMS project engineering, from design to commissioning and handover, in compliance with local standards.
Review MEP drawings to design BMS architecture, define I/O summaries, and identify HVAC equipment and control devices.
Develop control strategies, program DDC and supervisory controllers, and create test plans.
Specify and integrate hardware components (sensors, valves, dampers, controllers), ensuring proper wiring and interlocks.
Simulate, test, and commission systems, delivering fully functional hardware/software packages.
Prepare documentation such as BOMs, control specs, RFIs, and commissioning reports.
Ensure quality standards and project timelines are met.
Provide technical support for field engineers, client queries, and retrofit solutions.
Continuously update knowledge on protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LON, OPC) and industry best practices.
Requirements
Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics or related Engineering field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in an BMS design engineering, building automation, or industrial automation.
Knowledge of HVAC systems ( chiller water, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, etc) and BMS architecture ( operator workstations, supervisory and DDC controllers, sensors, actuators).
Proficient in BMS programming, control strategy development, and integration of various protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LON, OPC).
Experience in engineering, installing, and commissioning BMS and HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
