As a
Software Development Team Lead , you will work with our growing DevSecOps practice as a technical project manager or team lead, evaluating, identifying, and developing complex software solutions using cloud-native services, APIs, and microservice solutions. We are looking for candidates with 5-7 years of experience with responsibility for leading cross-functional and technical teams to drive projects from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Responsibilities include: Serve as the technical delivery leader, accountable for the completion of team delivery efforts including quality oversight and client acceptance. Build and maintain client relationships, developing a strategic vision for clients and internal teams. Handle challenging client situations and offer technical and business guidance & direction to client executives. Design, develop, and deploy modular microservices and cloud-based systems. Troubleshoot software quality, security, and reliability issues. Communicate technical options, tradeoffs, and risks with necessary personnel. Follow industry trends, innovative technologies, software development methods, and tools to improve product architecture, user experience, and Agile development and DevSecOps practices. Manage staff, monitor performance, and identify training needs to create skills expansion and career advancement opportunities. Foster the use of Agile practices within teams to enable delivery of deployable software within specified times. Participate in design sessions, sprint ceremonies, and cross-functional and integration team meetings. Provide guidance on testing practices and code reviews, ensuring security and integrity of the code base and product. Collaborate with team members and partners to develop new features and troubleshoot issues across environments. Document current environment, perform gap analysis, and produce artifacts with options and recommendations. Leverage virtualization and containerization to optimize and modernize software systems. Assist in sales and technical strategy activities beyond current programs. Engineer and implement solutions, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications
Required: Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance. BS Degree in an IT field or BS in a non-IT field with 2 years related IT experience. Proven experience deploying enterprise and custom software solutions in client environments. Ability to influence and consult, providing thought leadership to stakeholders in governance, program/project management, business processes, and technical problems. Proven experience in growing and delivering projects successfully. 8 years of experience with Ruby; additional programming languages (Java, React, C++, C) are a plus. 8 years of experience with Git SCM providers (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket). 8 years of experience with scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash, JavaScript). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for 5+ years. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines, CircleCI, TravisCI) for 5+ years. Experience implementing Docker containers and Kubernetes. Experience with automated testing frameworks, including unit testing. Preferred: MS Degree. Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solution Architect – Associate, Azure Developer Associate, SAFe Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Master. About
