Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student needs and eligibility for special education services. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions. Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support students social-emotional development. Offer consultation and training to school personnel on effective strategies for student support. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure positive educational outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters or doctoral degree in school psychology or a related field. State certification or licensure as a school psychologist. Experience working within elementary school settings preferred. Strong assessment and data analysis skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to special education services.
