Vice President of Marketing

to lead omnichannel marketing strategy, drive brand engagement, and scale regional retail and wholesale growth. This position oversees marketing operations across both Maryland and Washington, DC markets, supervising creative and marketing teams and leading the organizations evolving brand identity. Position Summary This executive leadership role will define and implement the company's marketing strategy across digital, in-store, and promotional channels. The VP of Marketing will collaborate closely with sales, finance, HR, and executive leadership to drive demand, ensure brand consistency, manage budgets, and lead team performance. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Brand Execution Lead the development and execution of regional marketing strategies to support growth in both retail and wholesale channels. Oversee omnichannel advertising and promotional campaigns, both online and in-store. Build and execute a cohesive brand narrative across all platforms. Manage external vendors (media buyers, agencies, printers) to deliver high-quality marketing materials. Leverage market insights, analytics, and customer data to shape campaigns and optimize results. Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, technology, and operations teams to align marketing goals with broader company objectives. Create and manage departmental budgets; track marketing spend and return on investment. Communications & Consumer Engagement Develop and oversee communications strategy across email, social media, and in-store promotions. Guide the creation of engaging content for multiple platforms. Champion customer experience and feedback integration across marketing touchpoints. Team Leadership Manage and mentor the marketing and creative teams across two jurisdictions. Oversee performance management, development planning, and annual evaluations. Foster a collaborative, creative, and high-performance team culture. Performance & Compliance Monitor and measure campaign success; use KPIs to optimize strategies. Stay informed on industry trends, compliance regulations, and emerging marketing platforms. Ensure all campaigns adhere to legal and regulatory requirements in a highly regulated industry.
