Senior Consulting Engineer Remote

The Senior Consulting Engineer offers independent advice on engineering sciences and related topics to companies and government entities. The role involves providing efficient services, conducting on- and off-site evaluations, and developing tailored solutions for clients. Salary & Benefits: The salary range is $130K - $150K, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, and more. Responsibilities: Research and interpret national codes and standards. Validate project scope and sample applicability. Identify testing requirements and develop test plans. Provide project quotes, including resources and standards used. Become a subject matter expert in specific product categories. Lead client meetings and discussions. Support sales with product requirements and customer presentations. Communicate project status to clients and management. Determine project needs and resource planning. Manage tasks and delegate to team members to ensure timely completion. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering. 8+ years of relevant experience in Regulatory, Compliance, Electrical Safety, or International Trade. Experience with Hydrogen industries and safety standards. Knowledge of IEC 61508, IEC 61511, IEC 62061, ISO 13849, ISO 26262, UL standards, or other functional safety standards. Ability to travel up to 25%. Valid driver's license with an acceptable record. Eligibility to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree. Certifications such as CMSE or PE License.
