Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist - General (Radiology) Location: Falmouth, Chatham, Plymouth or Hyannis, MA Type: Contract Schedule: Rotating Evening Shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) Shift Requirements: Every other weekend required, holidays as neededPosition Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist - General to perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a high-quality, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional imaging services.Key Responsibilities:Perform general ultrasound exams, including abdominal and OB/GYN scansOperate ultrasound equipment and apply appropriate techniques for optimal imagingAssist with ultrasound-guided procedures as directed by physiciansDocument findings and maintain accurate patient recordsEnsure patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout proceduresAdhere to infection control, safety, and departmental protocolsMaintain equipment functionality and cleanlinessCollaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teamsQualifications:ARDMS certification (RDMS) requiredOB/GYN and Abdomen (AB) registries requiredMinimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting preferredCurrent BLS certification requiredStrong organizational and communication skills
