Job DescriptionFull-Time MT or MLT Opportunity - Dothan, ALShift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnered with a top-tier healthcare facility in Dothan, Alabama, to find a dedicated and skilled Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). If you're looking to advance your lab career in a supportive community, this could be the perfect fit.Job Summary Perform routine and specialized lab tests in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, immunohematology (blood bank), and serology Work as a generalist with additional responsibilities in blood bank and microbiology Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, primarily Beckman Coulter systems Accurately analyze test results and ensure timely reporting to physicians and providers Perform and assist with phlebotomy as needed Use True Bridge (CPSI) LIS and EMR for lab documentation and result tracking Follow laboratory protocols and comply with all regulatory and safety standardsEducation and Certification Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field ASCP or AMT certification required At least 1 year of clinical lab experience preferred Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital laboratory settingWhy Work and Live in Dothan, AL?Known as the "Peanut Capital of the World," Dothan is a vibrant and affordable city in southeastern Alabama with a growing healthcare community.
