Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Privacy and Cyber Litigation Associate to join their team in any of their offices. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of significant litigation and case management experience, with a focus on privacy and cyber-related matters.

Duties

  • Manage day-to-day case activities and lead fact investigations.
  • Research legal issues and develop litigation strategies.
  • Draft pleadings, including answers, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of litigation and case management experience.
  • Excellent academic and professional credentials.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience with Fair Credit Reporting Act or other privacy-related statutes is a plus.
  • Good standing in the state where they wish to practice.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of practice.

Skills

  • Ability to deliver smaller projects with limited supervision.
  • Confidently manage workflow for larger projects.
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
