FUNCTION:

Assists in recruiting, interviewing, and screening applicants to fill vacant positions in the company. Assists employees in the understanding of established company policies and procedures. Assists HR Manager in daily operations of Human Resource Department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. ASSIST THE HR MANAGER AND OTHER SUPERVISORS WITH DAILY TASKS.

2. OBSERVE AND IDENTIFY ITEMS THAT NEED TO BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF HR MANAGER AND OTHER SUPERVISORS.

3. REVIEW NEW HIRES AND PROCESS NEW HIRES IN ADP SYSTEM.

4. AID IN DISTRIBUTION IN EMPLOYEE POLOS AND BADGES

5. MAINTAIN FILES AND SECURE IMFORMATION AS DIRECTED BY HR MANAGER AND SUPERVISORS.

6. AID THE HR MANAGER AND OTHER SUPERVISORS IN THE PROCESSING OF GOVERNMENT FORMS.

7. AID THE HR MANAGER IN PERFORMING CLERICAL SKILLS AS REQUESTED. THESE INCLUDE ANSWERING THE PHONE AND EMAILS AS DIRECTED.

8. PERFORM FRONT OFFICE TASKS AS NEEDED. THIS INCLUDES ANSWERING THE PHONE AND DIRECTING VISITORS TO WHOM CAN HELP.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

This is an hourly position.

TRAITS: Professional appearance. Pleasant telephone and personal contact mannerisms. An eye for detail and the ability to organize. Sense of urgency. Accurate typing or word processing experience essential.
