Business Analyst - KYC & Process Optimization

Summary
eClerx is looking for a business analyst from the banking industry. The candidate will also have responsibility for some light data analysis. The candidate will have previous experience at an investment bank, exchange or clearing house specifically with a regulatory reporting background. The ability to analyze information, gather requirements, document them, build specifications, target operating models, and other skills from the Agile framework, are required. The role will also have ample opportunity for the person to contribute to the optimization of processes, procedures and applications. Previous experience with process improvement and controls is desired.
Responsibilities Perform Client Due Diligence review in support of the Firm's new client onboarding and existing client regular review in accordance with the applicable regulatory program requirements Handle inquiries and ad hoc requests from internal clients including Compliance where required Actively engage with business, client onboarding teams, Compliance and Operations during the life cycle of the review starting from a request is received to completing a review. Understand and implement in respond to changes such as regulatory changes, internal policy, and procedural changes. Participate in process improvement initiatives such as technology enhancements, operational process review, and process simplification. Review and strengthen regulatory controls, both tactical and strategic. Review and remediate clients on exceptions reports. Respond to queries on regulations and client reference data. Track and manage interdependencies, critical path and risk status. Escalate issues in a timely manner to the regional manager. Provide regular status updates and metrics to managers. Deliver quality results in a timely manner and within required deadlines. Establish good working relationships with regional teams and internal stakeholders across various jurisdictions. Eligibility Requirements
12+ total years of technical experience in the financial services industry 8+ years of business analysis working on specification writing and critical thinking Experiences in AML/KYC customer due diligence, control, and regulatory program related process and/or projects are preferred. Knowledge of global KYC/CIP requirements (for UK, US, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore etc.) supporting international institutional and wealth management businesses desired Knowledgeable with Jira and agile methodologies Experience in business analysis and working with diverse teams and competing interests for requirements gathering and analyzing technical trade-offs Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels within technical and business organizations Innovation minded, highly capable of thinking systematically, capable of redefining the solutions to overcome the competitors and solve problems
