Business Intelligence Analyst !
This role is designed to consult with, and present to, leaders across the organization to provide data-driven analyses on all organizational metrics at an enterprise level. As a data analyst, you play a crucial role in steering the company's trajectory by leveraging your advanced coding skills and technical expertise. As a key member of a dynamic and visible team, you contribute significantly to shaping business insights.
The primary focus is on modeling and visualizing data based on operational requirements. The ability to query data from multiple different data sources, prepare this data for analysis, implement creative data analytic approaches that lead to actionable strategies, and display data and analyses in a digestible Power BI table/visual.
This is a hybrid position with an expectation of 3 days per week onsite in Broomfield, CO.
Job Summary:
This individual contributor is primarily responsible for driving strategic data-informed decisions, gathering data and information on targeted variables in an established systematic fashion, preparing data for analytic efforts, and interpreting data analyses. This position executes creative data analytic approaches leading to actionable outcomes, develops, implements, and automates business and reporting solutions, and develops analytical and/or statistical models enabling informed business decisions.
Essential Responsibilities:
The role involves leveraging data analytics and business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights, developing and maintaining data models, dashboards, and reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, ensuring data integrity and accuracy, and staying updated with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in data analytics processes.
The base compensation range for this position is $120,000-$130,000 commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or related field and Minimum five (5) years' experience in data analytics or a related field. Additional equivalent work experience in a related field may be substituted for the degree requirement. Expert- Level proficiency in Big Data SQL dialects, encompassing table creation CTEs and advanced joins. Expertise in Power BI dataflow, Dataset, and dashboard creation, including the ability to produce advanced visualizations. Ability to translate requests from non-technical stakeholders into actionable data and reports in collaboration with data engineering. Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years' experience in process improvement, project management and solutions delivery. Familiarity with Alteryx Desktop Designer or Alteryx Server, Google BigQuery.
