SUMMARY:
The Customer Service Representative l will be responsible for customer service and sales support for distributor, retail, and national account customers. This position assists customers with orders, enters orders accurately and timely and assists with billing items.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include, but are not limited to, the following:
Request and monitor customer orders, key orders into order entry system and adhere to departmental guidelines. Assist credit department with resolving credit and payment information issues. Analyze daily inventory levels to determine product shortages, overages and needs. Assist sales in price list development and pricing communication to customers. Assist sales in invoice deduction resolution. Collaborate with production coordinators regarding product availability and customer needs. Assist with traffic with full truck utilization, disposition of product and appointment scheduling. Assist plant in resolving carryovers. Utilize daily reports to resolve backlog orders, verify billing accuracy and communicate shortages. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required
High school diploma Experience in ordering and sales invoice systems Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, specifically Outlook and Excel
Preferred
Poultry experience
