They are seeking an Associate Software Developer to join their Software Development group and contribute to the development and support of their software suite. Responsibilities: Operate in an agile development team and participate in the design, development, testing, and debugging of applications. Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and functionality. Develop clean, elegant, and reusable code that is easy to maintain and extend. Participate in code reviews to improve coding skills and knowledge. Interact with application support to resolve technical issues and provide guidance. Support testing and quality assurance processes. Learn our tech stack through hands-on, guided tasks. Work collaboratively with internal teams. Qualifications: Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline. 0-2 years of commercial software development experience. Proficient in programming languages, such as C# or Java. Hands-on experience or strong interest in leveraging AI technologiessuch as LLMs, machine learning models, or AI-driven developer tools like Windsurf, Github Copilot, or Cursor to improve productivity and code quality. Basic knowledge of database concepts and SQL. Understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, REST, JSON). Understanding of software development methodologies and design principles. Familiarity with Git and modern application development workflows using systems like Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. Understanding of testing methodologies and TDD. Familiarity with cloud concepts (Azure or AWS). Willingness to learn new technologies, frameworks, and languages. Preferred: Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps principles is a plus.
