Job Description Summary Department - Regional Wastewater Reclamation Job Description OPEN TO CURRENT PIMA COUNTY EMPLOYEES ONLY Job Type: Classified Job Classification: 5165 - Business Intelligence Analyst III Salary Grade: 17 Pay Range Hiring Range: $83,408 - $100,089 Annually Pay Range: $83,408 - $116,771 Annually Range Explanation Hiring Range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity. Pay Range is the entire compensation range for the position. The role analyzes business processes and functions to identify opportunities for improvement and promote efficiency. It involves leading complex system architectural projects and translating business needs to stakeholders. Essential Functions Leads complex projects developing and implementing solutions affecting multiple departments; Evaluates business objectives to determine process and system solutions; Oversees creation of process models, UI mockups, database definitions, and test conditions; Develops clear communications and technical documentation; Develops business cases and cost/benefit analyses; Works with technical teams and department heads to prioritize and monitor projects; Applies project management techniques (Agile, Waterfall, etc.); Negotiates solutions to conflicts; May supervise staff and lead project teams. Minimum Qualifications Eight (8) years of experience in business process analysis or related fields, or Three (3) years of experience as a Pima County Business Systems Analyst II or similar role; Relevant education from an accredited institution may substitute experience. Clearly document qualifications in your application. Preferred qualifications include certifications in analytics/science, project leadership experience, SQL/DAX skills, stakeholder management, and supervisory experience.
