Job Responsibilities Operates a computer using the Highway Maintenance Management System (HMMS) system to maintain inventory control of materials issued and received in stockroom. Initiates job sheets on state equipment submitted for repairs using the HMMS system. Answers the telephone and radio to give messages or service calls to proper personnel. Maintains records on vehicles and equipment for preventative maintenance programs. Serves as credit card user for purchase of shop materials. Prepares periodic and annual inventory records. Perform duties during inclement weather or after hour emergencies. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements A high school diploma and six (6) months of work experience directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required. The physical demands for the essential functions of this position include sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods and working on a computer. This position requires working in an office environment, warehouse environment, and/or outside in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. May be required to work outside of normal work schedule, especially during inclement weather and/or other departmental-related emergencies. Additional Comments Non Discrimination Statement:
