The impact you'll make in this role: Determining direction, priorities, and assigning resources with full accountability for results of the entire site including multiple business and product lines. Responsible for establishing and managing budgets for one or more departments within the functional discipline such as production planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory/materials control, import/export, etc. Collaborating with division planning and site leadership to align on service, inventory, aged backlog, TVOS (transfer value of shipment) targets and improvements. Leading your team in identifying, defining, and cultivating a culture of planning continuous improvement across multiple departments and partnering with the manufacturing and operations managers, business teams, and others to ensure appropriate response to changing business conditions and needs. Continuing to advance our planning technology solutions towards standardization and automation. Creating solutions and resolving issues between demand and supply management contacts and manufacturing/logistics as well as ensuring volume forecasts are available/accurate for supply chain forecasting. Ensuring site planning, procurement, and inventory compliance with required training; adhere to appropriate regulatory, financial, and audit standards, requirements, and actions. Identify and lead cross-functional projects which support site production planning, procurement, and logistics readiness for COMS/Peoplesoft Harvest/SAP Deployment. Your skills and expertise: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution Eight (8) combined years' experience in planning, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, and/or logistics experience in a private, public, government or military environment Four (4) combined years' experience in management/supervision in a manufacturing environment in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Master's degree in supply chain, business, or engineering from an accredited university Black belt certification Logistics and transportation experience Demonstrated advanced leadership skills in managing people, teams, and projects ASCM (Association for Supply Chain Management)/APICS, CPIM or CSCP certification Experience in a highly regulated industry Work location: 3M Cottage Grove, Onsite Travel: May include up to 10% domestic Relocation assistance: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). The expected compensation range for this position is $164,612 - $201,193, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
