Reporting to the Director of Major Gifts and Leadership Annual Giving, the Leadership Annual Giving Officer is responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of 250-400 alumni, parents, and friends capable of making annual gifts at the leadership level to The Wellesley Fund. The role focuses on increasing donor numbers and overall philanthropic support through strategic outreach, understanding donor motivations, and working collaboratively to identify prospects for greater engagement. The officer will utilize AI tools and software to enhance efficiency and personalization. Primary Responsibilities:
Cultivate and solicit alumnae, parents, and friends with capacity to give $2,500-$100,000+ to support college priorities and The Wellesley Fund. Implement AI and emerging technologies to improve prospect and donor engagement. Maximize database and layered products to develop strategies for all constituents in the portfolio. Create compelling, personalized communications demonstrating the impact of leadership gifts. Collaborate with colleagues to identify and transition qualified prospects to Major Gifts, Principal Gifts, and Gift Planning teams. Participate in campus and external events, such as Family & Friends Weekend, Commencement, and Reunions. Basic Qualifications:
1-3 years of front-line fundraising, outreach, sales, or related experience. Experience working with volunteers, prospects, and donors is a plus. Comfort with technology and experience with prospect databases or CRM software. Valid U.S. drivers license and clearance as per college policy. Skills and Abilities:

Strategic, analytical, and adaptable mindset. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation. Discretion and professionalism.
