Senior Software Engineer
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle from design and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance of innovative applications on the company's platform. This is a hands-on development position where you'll contribute to building high-quality, scalable software products that support some of the most prestigious higher education and research institutions. This Software Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, applies engineering best practices, and takes ownership of software components and technical solutions. This role requires both strong technical acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities will include: Design, develop, test, deploy, and support high-quality software products Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with Product Management, Implementation, and Support teams to align technical development with business needs. Participate in code reviews and pair programming to share knowledge and improve code quality. Develop and execute comprehensive unit test plans. Work within agile development teams, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and environmental issues across projects. Support and update existing internal applications and services. Collaborate with offshore development teams to ensure consistency and quality. Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and modular front-end components. Contribute to developer documentation, release notes, and technical specifications.
