Senior Vice President, Full Stack Lead Engineer
to join their Structured Debt Client Platform team, where the role involves designing and developing backend features, leading technical design, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the platform's performance. Responsibilities: Design and develop backend features and components. Provide application software development services or technical support in complex situations. Lead the technical design, development, and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. Design and code programs, create test transactions, and write documentation for installation and operating procedures. Utilize standard procedures and techniques to write new programs of moderate complexity. Participate actively in code reviews. Integrate software components into a fully functional system. Apply security and privacy principles. Participate in deployment processes following change controls. Maintain, support, and enhance existing systems and platforms. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Work with other engineers to elevate technology and apply best practices. Collaborate with team members to share responsibility for team efforts. Work cross-functionally with data engineers, business users, project managers, and other engineers. Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, and refinement.
Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 10-14 years of software development experience with Java, Jakarta EE, and distribution systems. Passion for problem solving and designing for scale. Experience with Java 17+, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Experience with SQL, Stored Procedures, and transaction management. Knowledge of APIs for inter-process communication. Relational database experience (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Experience with Cloud, Kubernetes, Containers. Experience with messaging systems like MQ/Kafka. Understanding of SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred:
Experience with Angular and UI development. Scripting experience in Linux environment.
