Senior Software Engineer
Humana Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Louisville, KY. Duties include: Collaborate with a close knit cross functional team to design, implement, test and continuously deliver new features and products to our customers. Design and code applications based on business requirements with heavy focus on code quality, performance, and resiliency. Influence the transition of our current applications to SalesForce Health Cloud platform and other Cloud technologies. Drive and contribute to solution creation with emphasis on quality engineering practices. Oversee testing and debugging and develop fixes. Research complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Contribute to influencing department's strategy. Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components. 100% telecommuting permitted within the U.S. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Automation Engineer, or a related role. Requires 5 years of experience with the following skills: Database - SQL and Power-BI Cloud - Azure or AWS DevOps: Terraform or CI/CD pipelines Design & Development of database applications, ingestion pipelines and visualization reports. Requires 3 years of experience with Database Management - Snowflake. Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required. 40 hours/week. Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
