Job Description
Two (2) years college and two (2) years of experience or equivalent four (4) years of experience, with preferred courses in: Math through Trigonometry and Analytical Geometry Engineering material Processing Technology Trained in CADAM, CATIA, and APT programming Manufacturing methods and procedures Catia (V6 / 3DX) modeling and surfacing experience At least two (2) years of NC Programming experience. Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of CATIA (V6 / 3DX) NC Programming 5-axis CNC NC Programming experience 5-axis CNC Probing Programming experience Familiarity with Gidding & Lewis and/or Starrag Heckert 5-Axis machines Maintains complete documentation of programs to ensure effective process control. Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings, Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, Quality Documents, and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned work. Capable of scheduling several assignments and possesses the skills required to submit reliable cost/hour estimates; capable of directing other individuals' workflow regarding specific programs. Develops, creates, and maintains tooling/fixture definitions for manufacturing operations across media types, including MCAD and manual legacy designs. Skilled in the application of GD&T and aerospace tolerances. Responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining Loft MCAD models, flat patterns, and associated digital tooling programs. Executes creation and maintenance of CATIA (V6 / 3DX) programs and operator instructions for NC equipment. Must have experience with CATIA (V6 / 3DX) as shown on the resume. Employment Details
