Position Summary:

The Vice President of Construction is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of new restaurant construction, remodels, and capital projects for a rapidly growing QSR franchise system. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with brand standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in restaurant or retail construction management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to scale processes across multiple markets.Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a scalable construction strategy to support aggressive unit growth across new and existing markets Oversee site development, permitting, bidding, budgeting, and construction execution Manage internal construction teams, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other third-party vendors Implement and enforce brand standards and design guidelines across all new builds and remodels Collaborate cross-functionally with Real Estate, Operations, Finance, and Franchise Development to align construction with company goals Lead the construction budget process and cost-control strategies to ensure efficient capital deployment Identify and mitigate construction risks and delays proactively Establish KPIs and reporting dashboards to monitor project performance and timelines Drive a culture of safety, quality, and accountability across all job sites Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, preferably in QSR, franchise, or multi-unit retail environments Proven track record of delivering multi-site projects on time and on budget Deep understanding of construction permitting, zoning, and regulatory requirements in multiple states Strong leadership and vendor management skills Ability to travel frequently to job sites across the country Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
