Summary
Assures that products and processes produced at Pace Industries are in compliance to customer and internal requirements and specifications. Works effectively with supervisors and production associates to resolve quality issues, achieve team objectives and promote quality principles.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities (But Not Limited To)
Perform in-process inspections and schedule audits. Promote and ensure procedures are followed in all production areas. Promote quality policy and objectives. Perform root cause analysis on customer returns and report findings to Quality and 2nd shift Supervisor. Participate in corrective actions and perform follow-up on actions taken to support with continuous improvement. Perform quality control functions as defined in procedures and work instructions to ensure that customers receive quality parts. Inspect and record all parts at specified frequencies, with specified lot size, in accordance with approved quality control procedures using measuring devices to ascertain quality. Perform non-conforming material (NCM) documentation. Work closely with the Production Department to ensure all processes and procedures are current, accurate, and are being followed. Assure that all parts are processed according to process routing. Initialize necessary actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to products, processes, and quality system. Identify and record any problems relating to products, processes, and quality system. Analyze inspection reports to determine adherence to drawings, specifications, processing procedures to ensure quality of manufacture Document non-conforming material by utilizing quality tools, manufacturing processes and procedures Comply with established QMS procedures and safety directives Perform general housekeeping activities to maintain a clean, safe work environment Follow the requirements of the Quality Policy, NADCAP system, and procedures and participate in the Continuous Quality process Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions in a timely manner Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries, including wearing the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) Perform other associated duties, functions or work as may be needed or assigned to continue the productive operation of the company. Position Requirements Responsible for looking after your own personal safety and welfare and being mindful of other people who may be affected by your actions. Learn, understand and comply with all safety rules and procedures. Report all safety concerns or issues to the immediate attention of your supervisor or manager. Requires a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills. Must be willing to embrace new technology and change. Willing to constantly seek improvement. Must possess and apply 5s methodology Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to read, understand and execute written directives Must possess good math skills Must possess good mechanical skills Must maintain a good attendance record Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Knowledge in GD&T preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word and Excel software) Ability to work effectively with co-workers. Skills in problem solving to reach good decisions. Skills on training and developing associates. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
