Wisenbaker Builder Services, Inc.
Job Purpose
If your idea of "career development" is more than a one-time conversation and a generic training course - we're already on the same page.
You've seen it before: employees with potential stuck in neutral, unclear pathways, and a lot of talk about development but no real plan. At Wisenbaker, we don't just say we invest in our people - we back it up with strategy, tools, and action.
We're looking for someone who can turn career pathing into more than a buzzword. Someone who wants to shape the future of a workforce - and knows how to get it done.
We need a professional who already understands the rhythms of manufacturing and operations and how development fits into the bigger picture. If you're still building that experience, we'll be here when you're ready.
Your Mission:
You'll design and lead programs that give our team real opportunities to grow - up, across, and beyond. From clear career maps to targeted learning paths, you'll make development something employees can actually see, feel, and trust. Your work will fuel promotions, boost internal mobility, and strengthen the bench for tomorrow's leadership.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing (And Loving Every Minute of It): Mapping clear, actionable career pathways across our manufacturing, technical, and support teams - no fluff, no dead ends. Partnering with frontline leaders and HR to identify high-potential talent and prepare them for their next role. Designing development tools, training programs, and coaching strategies that actually move the needle. Turning data from reviews, skills assessments, and engagement surveys into actionable
development
plans. Helping Wisenbaker stay ready for change by building an agile, cross-trained workforce with room to grow. Qualifications & Required Skills
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in organizational development, talent management, or workforce planning - ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting. A track record of building or revamping career pathing, training programs, or development frameworks. • A deep understanding of how people grow - and how businesses benefit when they do. • Someone who thrives on collaboration, listens closely, and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo. You can speak HR, but you also speak operations - and you're great at connecting the two. • Experience with HRIS or learning platforms (Workday is a plus) and a data-savvy approach to evaluating success.
About the Company
At Wisenbaker, we don't just support the homebuilding industry - we help build it from the ground up. As one of the largest interior finish solutions providers in the country, we partner with top homebuilders to deliver flooring, countertops, and cabinets that turn houses into homes. But we're more than materials - we're a people-powered operation where hard work is noticed, growth is real, and leadership actually leads. If you're ready to be part of something built to last, welcome to Wisenbaker.
