The role requires a software engineer with responsibilities including developing, designing, creating, modifying, and testing software applications or systems for various mobile software services. The engineer will work closely with product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for the iOS platform. They will implement custom native user interfaces using the latest iOS programming techniques and development tools, build reusable iOS software components for interfacing with back-end platforms, and analyze and optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance. The role demands a minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, analytics, mathematics, physics, applied sciences, or a related field, and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or a computer-related occupation. The candidate must have five years of experience in object-oriented software development, building complex applications for iOS based products using Objective-C, Swift or C++ with the iOS SDK, building maintainable and testable code bases, multithreading programming and mobile memory management, experience in both Objective-C and Swift, building large-scale infrastructure applications, relational databases and SQL, algorithms, one of the following client-server communication patterns: REST, GraphQL, gRPC, mobile architecture patterns that can scale to a large number of programmers and teams in one codebase (MVVM, VIPER, modularization), and dependency injection and scoped access to shared resources. The compensation for the role is $220,449/year to $240,240/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
