Beep is seeking a highly experienced
Program Manager
to lead strategic autonomous mobility initiatives in partnership with the Jacksonville Transit Authority (JTA) and Beep's OEM partners. This role will oversee complex, multi-stakeholder programs involving public sector coordination, vendor oversight, and technical execution of autonomous shuttle deployments. The Program Manager will serve as a key liaison between Beep, JTA, and OEMs, ensuring alignment across commercial, operational, and technical domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end program management for Beep's autonomous shuttle initiatives in Jacksonville, ensuring alignment with JTA's strategic goals. Serve as the primary liaison between Beep, JTA, municipal agencies, and multiple vendors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless coordination. Develop and manage program plans, budgets, timelines, and performance metrics across multiple concurrent projects. Oversee vendor contracts, deliverables, and service-level agreements, ensuring accountability and quality. Drive stakeholder engagement, including public outreach, community education, and inter-agency collaboration. Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and implement continuous improvement strategies. Provide executive-level reporting and insights to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and public sector standards. Champion innovation and scalability in autonomous mobility solutions. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Engineering, Business, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred). 7+ years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on public transit, smart mobility, or public sector initiatives. Proven success managing complex programs with multiple vendors and stakeholders. Strong understanding of public agency operations, procurement, and regulatory environments. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Expert in project methodologies: Critical Path, Hybrid, Agile. Proficient in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, JIRA, and other PM tools. Strong emotional intelligence, situational awareness, and stakeholder communication. Ability to work across technical and executive levels with high adaptability and autonomy. Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and organizational skills. Preferred:
Experience working directly with transit authorities such as JTA or similar. Familiarity with autonomous vehicle technologies, smart city infrastructure, or mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) platforms. PMP or similar certification.
