WEB Developer/Administrator - Mid Level 2046 with Security Clearance
Position: Web Developer/Administrator - Mid Level #2046 Location: Springfield, VA Clearance: TS/SCI General Responsibilities: Assist the government in directing web developers/administrators in developing and modifying computer applications software, interfaces, or specialized utility programs. Oversee the work of Junior-level web developers/administrators that are developing and modifying computer applications software, interfaces, or specialized utility programs. Advise the Government on proposed changes to the web solutions designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology. Follow established processes and complete the appropriate documentation to ensure systems and web applications are migrated into the cloud and achieve Authority To Operate (ATO). Identify and evaluate applications that can support the exploitation of data and databases. Assess what is required to integrate a particular tool into the NGA IT environments. Direct preparation of required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Plan and execute the migration of the various engineering tools into the cloud per NGA policy and government guidance. Oversee the work of Senior-, Mid- and Junior- level Tools Developer/Maintainer. Oversee activities to maintain the Enterprise Engineering Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) in C2S or similar cloud-based environment. Provide cloud hosting cost estimates for planning purposes and monitor burn rates using the cloud estimation tools approved by the Government. Guide the implementation, integration, and maintenance of tools such as ServiceNow, DOORS Next Gen, MS Project, Cameo, Riverbed, NetScout, Dynatrace, MagicDraw, Syndeia, Rational System Architect, etc., to ensure data sharing and process automation. Education/Certification Required: Master's degree, Bachelor's degree plus 2-year experience, Associates degree plus 4 years' experience, or a minimum of 6 years' experience in relevant field. Required Skills and Tasks: Active TS/SCI clearance, or eligible to renew inactive TS/SCI clearance. Ability to develop & use complex concepts & processes. Conduct root cause analysis. Support Junior personnel. Perform multiple tasks at a specialist level. Proficient in administration of collaboration tools like Microsoft SharePoint. Experience in cross-organizational and international technology integration. Experience with Database Management Systems (DBMS). May be recognized as a SME in their field. Evaluate & recommend new technology & processes based on cost, risk, and mission needs. Proficient in Java, JavaScript, Hibernate, XML, JSON, Tomcat, OAuth authentication.
