Customer service, security, and client success are at the core of everything we do. As we continue to expand, we're seeking a skilled and motivated *Level II Field Technician* to join our Network Services team.

*Position Summary*

As a Level II Field Technician, you will provide both remote and onsite support for client systems and networks, including implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of on-premises and cloud infrastructure. This role blends hands-on fieldwork with help desk and project-based responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a desire to grow professionally within a fast-paced MSP environment. You should thrive in dynamic situations, manage shifting priorities well, and maintain a commitment to high-quality service delivery.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Respond to and resolve Tier II support tickets (remote and on-site) * Issues range from password resets and equipment setup to complex network, cloud, and Active Directory troubleshooting * Execute field engineering tasks including: * Hardware deployments, cable runs, system installations, firewall and network device configuration * Collaborate with project managers to support IT infrastructure projects * Examples: server migrations, Office 365 implementations, network redesigns * Assist in client onboarding and disaster recovery simulations * Maintain accurate documentation (network diagrams, port maps, SOPs) * Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support

*Qualifications & Experience*

* 3+ years in a systems/network engineer or field tech role, preferably in an MSP environment * Experience providing help desk and customer-facing technical support * Proficiency with networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, switching, routing) * Experience with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Entra * Experience with firewall and network security products * FortiGate and Ubiquiti Unifi experience preferred * Familiarity with RMM/PSA platforms (e.g., Datto RMM, Autotask) * Understanding of EDR/MDR security platforms (e.g., Datto AV/EDR, RocketCyber) * Valid driver's license required

*Technical Skills*

* Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting * Microsoft Server administration (2008 and newer) – AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS * Consistent cabling, racking, and labeling practices * Logical problem-solving and prioritization in mission-critical environments * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. * Bonus: * Industry certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.) * PowerShell or other scripting experience * Azure or AWS experience * Familiarity with hospitality POS systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,872.95 - $86,556.67 per year
