New York - Hybrid PROPOSED SALARY RANGE:

$80,000 - $90,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience. This range does not include bonus compensation or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Join BBC StoryWorks, the branded content studio of BBC Global Digital News & Streaming, and bring compelling storytelling to life for commercial partners across the Americas. As a Creative Strategist, you'll develop insight-driven, multi-platform campaigns that align with the BBC's trusted voice while delivering impact for global advertisers.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT

Develop innovative branded content concepts across digital formats that reflect BBC editorial integrity and meet client objectives Craft strategic, compelling pitch materials in collaboration with sales, editorial, and design teams Respond to RFPs and create proactive content proposals informed by insights and trends Ensure alignment from concept to execution, offering creative oversight during production Analyze audience data and market trends to inform campaign strategy and strengthen storytelling impact YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

3-4+ years of experience in branded content, digital publishing, marketing, or media Strong storytelling instincts across formats including video, written, audio, and experiential Excellent communication and presentation skills with a sharp eye for detail Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to deliver under pressure Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

Familiarity with BBC.com content verticals (e.g., BBC Culture, BBC Earth, BBC Travel) Background or education in marketing, journalism, English, or creative writing Experience in content distribution strategies and social-first campaign development Knowledge of global and North American audience insights and digital trends Previous experience at a content studio, publisher, or creative agency
