Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a Tractor Trailor to transport materials, goods, or equipment to designated locations. Load and unload cargo onto the truck, ensuring proper securing and balance of the load. Plan and follow the most efficient routes to reach destinations on time, considering road conditions, traffic, and delivery schedules. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and other equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and responsible driving. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns. Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and clients. Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the truck, both inside and outside. Comply with all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Skills And Qualifications:
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) with appropriate endorsements for operating a tri-axle truck. Proven experience as a Tractor Trailor Driver or in a similar driving role. Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures. Excellent driving skills, including the ability to maneuver large vehicles in different road and weather conditions. Ability to read maps and use navigation devices to plan routes effectively. Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of loading and unloading cargo. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as required. Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Work in varying weather conditions and at different elevations. Exposure to moderate to high noise levels. Rotational shift work required, often exceeding twelve hours per day. Physically demanding role requiring climbing, lifting (over 50 lbs. occasionally), and other physical activities. Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety vests, gloves, and steel-toe boots. Compensation & Benefits:
