PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe systems by performing the following duties:
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1. Inspects machinery or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance worker to diagnose problems and repair.
2. Performs preventive maintenance on
machinery/equipment
as required. Record equipment maintenance data, job time, and prepare other basic information and reports as required. 3. Builds, fabricates, repairs structures and/or equipment from verbal instruction, blueprints and/or working drawings.
4. Tests/replaces electrical components under lockout/Tagout requirements. Based on training may also install/replace bus duct disconnects; replace lighting and change fuses in switch gear while equipment is energized or near energized parts.
5. Assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
6. Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
7. Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
8. Maintains a clean and safe working environment.

Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift. A
nyone who works 2nd or 3rd shift will receive an additional $1/hr. shift differential
