Pediatric Part-Time LPN
Join our compassionate team as a Pediatric Part-Time LPN providing invaluable care to pediatric patients in the comfort of their homes needing alternative schedule options. As a vital member of our homecare agency, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of pediatric patients outside regular scheduled hours. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of families by providing high-quality nursing care tailored to the individual needs of each child. Responsibilities: Supervisory Visits and Education in a Patient's Home. Re-evaluation of patients' skilled nursing/PSS needs Work autonomously with minimal assistance by the Clinical Manager Maintain patient confidentiality Make decisions based on established policies and procedures Preparation of the clinical progress notes. Informing the family and Registered Nurse of changes in the patients' condition or needs. Administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician in accordance with currently accepted standards of medical practice Total patient care Patient and family teaching. Other services in accordance with and as outlined in the Georgia Licensed Professional Nurse Practice Act. Reports directly to the Registered Nurse and Clinical Director. Qualifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must hold a current unencumbered Nursing license to practice in the state of Georgia. Current BLS Certification. Current Driver's License Current TB Screening Experience caring for medically fragile individuals. Experience in Home Health (preferred). Experience in Pediatrics (preferred). Working knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Georgia Pediatric Program, GAPP, (preferred).
