General Summary
Responsible to function as a Die Setter in the molding department and to follow all IATF 16949, ISO 9001 & 6S instructions. Principle Duties, Responsibilities and Essential Elements of the Job
- Perform scheduled mold changes on a timely basis. - Perform housekeeping duties as needed 6S or required. - Relieve operators for breaks as required. - Set-up work area as required with the utility. - Perform light duty mold repairs as needed or requested (i.e. water line, vacuum line, etc.). - Complete all check sheets, repair forms, and other forms as required. - Perform last shot when pulling a mold. - Process improvements as needed or required. - Report all safety and machine problems through the proper channels. - Comply with all LP&P and MIOSHA Safety regulations. - Recommend and participate in quality and productivity improvements. - Other duties as assigned by management Education / Skills / Experience
- Hi-Lo Training & licensed - Overhead Crane training & licensed - Lock Out/Tag Out trained - Successfully competed Die Setter Training - Machine and process knowledge.
