Adjunct Faculty Member
The didactic adjunct faculty member will teach in the undergraduate nursing program, in the classroom, at the discretion of the Director of Nursing. The faculty member will participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation of classroom instruction. Responsibilities
Meet assigned course load as agreed upon at beginning of term. Provide high quality instruction to student in assigned courses, with emphasis on active teaching strategies to engage students. Be available to students for office hours as directed by Director of Nursing. Submit grades for assignments as directed by course coordinator. Provide regular feedback to students. Plan instructional activities. Communicate and issues with course coordinator. Attend faculty meetings as per the Director of Nursing. Qualifications
Education/Experience
Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, doctorate preferred Minimum 3-5 years' experience, including clinical supervision of students Licensures/Certifications Valid NY State Professional RN license Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer or Health Provider Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty and colleagues. Salary

USD $100.00/Hr. Minimum Salary
USD $80.00/Hr.
