Technical Project Manager

Halo Industries has invented a revolutionary technology to replace a decades-old semiconductor material slicing process. Our laser-based technology eliminates waste, improves material cost and performance, and drives advancements in high-growth markets like automotive, telecommunications, and power electronics. Founded in 2014 at Stanford University, Halo secured significant funding in 2024 and is poised for rapid growth, engaging strategic customers and preparing for volume manufacturing. The evolution of Halo's technology and equipment, growing from an R&D focus to a production manufacturing environment, has triggered the need for a Technical Project Manager who can lead the development and deployment of the company's material slicing production tooling. The technical project manager will oversee the electrical system design and integration for our laser products and will have the following responsibilities: Responsible for preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring assigned engineering projects from initiation through closure. Driving PLM phase gate readiness for product design and production release. Ensure overall quality of the work, manage projects triple constraints, and provide regular updates on project status. Aid in determining the product or system requirements. Identify any bottlenecks and implement improvements, overseeing and advancing the risk management plan. Define project deliverables for engineers, allocate tasks, and closely monitor progress. Develop and implement communication strategies with the project team and keep all stakeholders informed, address issues as they arise, and maintain alignment. Tracking the status and ensuring timely delivery of the manufacturing or construction of products or systems. Aid in the evaluation of systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair. Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with program management and other project stakeholders.
