Security Personnel Specialist

Full Time Position at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico Duties & Responsibilities:

Personnel Security Support: Process incoming and outgoing visit requests for classified meetings. Support processing visit requests, including Foreign National visit requests. Provide support for the Security Education, Training and Awareness (SETA) Program. Collect PERSEC data related to clearance investigations, security incident trends, System Access Authorization Requests (SAARs), classified meetings, and overall processes. Conduct Defense Central Index of Investigations (DCII), Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or future system of record and SF 86 reviews of candidates being submitted for command wide access. Process personnel checking in and out of the command. Perform data entry to the current personnel security database and maintain personnel security files. Support NSWC PHD administration of the requirements of SECNAV M-5510.30C as they relate to Personnel Security. SCI Personnel Security (SCI PERSEC) Support: Provide support for the Special Security Office SCI Security Education Training Awareness (SETA) program. Verify personnel in current and future databases and perform SF-86 reviews of candidates being submitted for SCI access. Process incoming and outgoing visit requests for the Special Security Office. Interface with senior leaders and Government Program Managers for Access Approval decisions. Assist in the indoctrination of SCI personnel. Perform miscellaneous and administrative support functions. Maintain various daily logs for administrative functions associated with PERSEC. Review, track, and monitor SCI security clearance processing activities. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity in Security Information Management System Software (SIMS). Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 Personnel Security Standards and Procedures Governing Eligibility for Access to SCI Minimum/General Experience:

Two years of experience in Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 Personnel Security Standards and Procedures Governing Eligibility for Access to SCI. Two years of experience in: visitor control, clearance verification for secure rooms, submitting in and out processing, meeting and training support. Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) with at least six years of experience in personnel security, OR Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university and two years of experience related to personnel.
