Senior Program Quality Lead (PQL)

Join our team as a Senior Program Quality Lead (PQL) supporting the Mission Integration Systems product area as part of the Strategic Sensors & Precision Strike/Air & Space Defense Systems Business Unit of Raytheon Missiles and Defense in Fullerton, CA. In this role, you'll drive a robust quality culture, practices, and collaboration efforts. As the primary Quality interface for customers (internal & external) and suppliers alike, you'll ensure the program meets all Quality & Mission Assurance requirements. This is an "Onsite" role based in Fullerton, CA. What You Will Do

Engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers Develop partnerships with program and production stakeholders, IPTs, and support functions to drive issue resolution and implement improved processes. Develop and implement strategic and tactical Mission Assurance plans that will directly affect the program's execution and influence. Initiate and perform root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement closed loop process controls to improve product/process predictability and capability. Interpret command media in compliance to work being performed. Drive new Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and CORE projects to reduce costs/improve efficiencies on the program. Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145, as applicable. Act as the primary POC for all QMS audits while ensuring best-in-class results. Support proposal activities for business development. Act as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews. Qualification You Must Have

Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and ten (10) years of relevant experience in the areas below: Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems. Working experience translating external and internal requirements and command media. Working experience providing technical program expertise for manufacturing and/or design processes. Working and auditing experience with a Quality Management System (ISO 9001 and/or AS9100). Experience establishing customer relations and communications processes. Experience applying Government Quality Requirements and Standards including aerospace, commercial, defense, and space industries. Experience driving successful performance of major subcontractors, suppliers and/or IOTs. Experience implementing Continuous Improvement and Lean/Agile principles and projects. Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer

Experience in risk mitigation and opportunity management. Experience of/in: RTX/Raytheon/RMD policies and procedures. Product life cycle from design through sustainment. Use of Root Cause Corrective Action containment and analysis process and tools. Experience with DOD, ISO, AS/QS, GMP, and other national/international standards. RMD Six Sigma and/or CORE qualified, or demonstrated skill. Experience with AN/TPY-2 or SBX radar development, production or sustainment. Experience managing, coaching and mentoring others in routine settings and complex situations. Experience representing the Quality organization on a Program Area or Product Line management team and/or capture teams. Experience applying Contracts/Contract Requirements. Experience defining and analyzing Quality metrics. Experience collaborating cross functionally with the other QA leads and functions. Experience participating in test preparation and execution to ensure requirements are verified. Experience in RTX Lifecycle Program Management gate reviews (e.g. Test Readiness, Ship Readiness). Experience in other functional areas such as engineering, supplier engineering, or operations. Experience using interpersonal skills and working with customers, suppliers, and in a team environment. Experience being a passionate, high-energy, self-starting team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement. Experience facilitating cross-functional teams in systematic improvement activities. Experience working with and technically interfacing with various engineering disciplines. Experience using sound judgement and applying resolution-making skills with appropriate supervisory intervention. Experience communicating verbally and in written communications and networking with other stakeholders. Experience in audits, nonconformance review boards (MRB/FRB), and Quality Management Systems. Experienced in RLPM/gating, program phasing, and leading/mentoring teams for performance improvement. Defense Industry Background. What We Offer

DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
