The Page Six video team is seeking a Video Editor for a new state of the art studio who will help us make existing series and compelling, shareable videos about gossip, celebrities, and fashion - subjects that are the mainstay of the nation's most iconic gossip column. You should love celebrity journalism and possess deep knowledge about the latest celebrity gossip, feuds, scandals and hookups. If you should live and breathe celebrity lifestyle, fashion and social media, with your fingers on the pulse, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: Edit fast-paced, short-form digital videos for Page Six, using a mix of original footage, social content, and stock assets Collaborate closely with producers and the studio technical director to meet daily production targets Deliver polished, shareable content with strong editorial storytelling and visual flair Use Adobe Premiere and other Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, After Effects) to edit videos and apply graphic templates Perform basic color correction and audio mixing for digital delivery Create vertical video content optimized for various social media platforms Pitch compelling video ideas daily and actively participate in team brainstorming sessions Assist with multicam editing and support studio operations when needed Keep up with the latest trends, formats, and techniques in celebrity, entertainment, and pop culture digital video Maintain strong organization while multitasking in a fast-paced newsroom setting Select music tracks that align with the tone and style of each video Occasionally work evenings or weekends to support breaking news or high-priority content Requirements: 2+ years experience editing celebrity videos for digital outlets Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Knowledge of studio and control room operations Ability to color correct and mix audio Ability to create vertical videos for various social platforms Be able to work very quickly under pressure Pitch video ideas daily and contribute to team brainstorming Experience with multicam editing Motion graphics experience a plus as is simple animation, but not necessary Ability to select and use music to match the tone and style of the story Must be organized, work well in a fast-paced environment and be a team-player Can-do attitude is key: someone who believes news doesn't have to be boring and who appreciates the odd and unconventional stories as well as important ones Open to working evenings and weekends, on rare cases if required Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced newsroom environment on weekly deadlines To apply, please submit your resume and a link to your editing reel.
