Essential Job Responsibilities Oversee and participate in project planning, estimating, scheduling, staffing, procurement, and execution of projects. Maintain and manage client relationship and expectations. Manage and communicate project changes that may impact either budget or schedule. Ability to manage several projects through the full project life cycle process. Assist in the development and implementation of account and project strategies. Provide ongoing customer insight and historical perspectives to support current project proposals. Assist in preparation and development of project proposals and strategy. Participate in proposal review meetings, site/department visits, and estimating efforts, as required in the development of the proposal. Travel throughout the United States to make specialized sales calls along with other Mitutoyo America sales personnel. Visit current and potential customers to promote specific products and assist with customer meetings. Keep informed of Mitutoyo America products and provide input on new product research and development. Communicate new developments to management. Attend Mitutoyo meetings and participate in sales training, product knowledge training sessions, and on-boarding training as required. Maintain regular contact and communications with Mitutoyo America personnel as required. Required Education and Experience: 5+ years of experience as a project engineer/project manager. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing industry processes and automation technology. Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and be able to provide management oversight.
