Your greatest work is ahead! We are in search of a Network Security, Mid, to join our Air Force Enterprise It As A Service (EITaaS) Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) program. As a Network Security, Mid, you will have overall responsibility for updating and managing an Authority to Operate (ATO) for multiple BIM Space Force Base networks at varying classification levels. The Network Security, Mid will support base operations teams, customer counterparts, and the deployment teams throughout the BIM modernization efforts at each base, ensuring compliance with local base security procedures. Qualified candidates will have a strong technical background sufficient to understand the government's requirements, and work closely with the government and Leidos leadership to facilitate effective planning and accomplishment of mission objectives in a timely manner. In addition to developing solutions, you will help the government customer understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical capabilities, features, and transformation strategies and engage in proof of concepts. Primary Responsibilities: Prepare for formal assessments and ensure IT systems meet requirements to be authorized to operate. Ensure the adequacy of the system's security posture. Continually evaluate security controls and ensure they meet established standards and are functioning effectively. Document results and make recommendations for improving security. Ensure that the system has the necessary security controls to minimize risks. Develop System Security Plans (SSP), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M). Help develop System Security Plans (SSP), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M). Validate and maintain the accreditation of the assigned Security Plans. Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation. Required Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 2+ years of prior experience in network security or Master's degree with some experience. Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. Deep understanding of Information Assurance, Information Technology, and Information Management concepts, processes, and procedures. Experience with supporting the delivery of large and complex projects on time and within budget in government organizations. Strong communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills. Must have an active Secret security clearance and be a US Citizen. Must possess or be willing to obtain one of the following certifications within 60 days: CCE CFR CISA CISM CISSO CPTE CySA+ FITSP-A GCSA GPEN GSNA Clearance Required: Must be a US Citizen and have at a minimum a Secret clearance.
