Guest Service (Front Desk) is responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for guests entering the venue, and providing detailed information about the venue, food and beverage menu, and gaming options. Guest Service should also have a complete understanding of the reservation system in order to keep it organized and communicate details to guests as well as venue staff throughout operations. In addition to responsibilities at the venue entrance and with reservations, Guest Service (Front Desk) should be actively involved with guest hospitality throughout the venue. This is accomplished with awareness throughout each shift, and actively communicating with other staff members in every department. Responsibilities Enthusiastically greet and assist guests, locate event spaces, and answer general questions about the venue Ensure that guests receive immediate, friendly, and personalized service Be a brand ambassador and ensure each guest is fully aware of playing and dining options Communicate clearly, succinctly, and patiently to all guests and teammates Handle incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate parties Manage and maintain waitlists for hitting bays, assess guest needs, and use salesmanship tools to add value to the guests' experience Perform other duties as requested by management Qualifications & Skills Must be friendly, outgoing, and able to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment Work schedule varies and will include working on days, nights, holidays, and weekends and requires standing and/or walking for extended periods Organizational, teamwork, and multi-tasking skills a must One or more years of experience working as a front desk agent or similar experience Experience with a computerized booking system/point of sale system Bilingual abilities a plus Excellent oral and written communication skills Education and/or Experience Requirements HS Diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with reservation software and hospitality. Good communication skills, and experience working with staff on all levels. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for hours at a time, including maneuvering up and down stairs. Ability to travel, unassisted as needed. Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at-a-time without assistance.
