Your role will be pivotal, requiring proficiency in legal software, excellent communication skills, and a knack for time management. As a PI Litigation Paralegal, you will: Responsibilities: Update the Treatment Tracker along with Legal Assistant Making sure the 45-Day No Client Contact Report is up to date along with the legal assistant. Draft all Pleadings. Save all ecourts. Update the Litify Counsel tab when an answer is received. Draft answers to interrogatories to be reviewed by attorney. Handle all discovery responses, amendments, etc. (If assistance is needed for the legal assistant, you must advise her). Enter all discovery end dates into Litify
monitor to ensure DEDs are accurate and updated. Enter expert discovery deadline dates into Litify Obtain all bills, add all into Litify Health lien requests Handle incoming calls along with Legal Assistant Handle all requests for more specific responses to Answers to Interrogatories Draft Arbitration Statements, Mediation Statements (under the direction of your attorney), Pre-Trial Exchange
for attorney to review and revise as needed before submitting to KK for review. Draft Motions under the direction of your attorney Draft the skeleton of Oppositions and Replies - under the direction of your attorney. Dismissal notices for lack of prosecution
discuss with Andrea Barrios to ensure being handled appropriately. Obtain all documents and handle scheduling for Friendly Hearings, and Proof Hearings Draft Longworth approval letters Draft SDS and Blue Sheet Package Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Law or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal Proficiency in legal software such as Litify, eCourts, and legal databases Excellent written communication skills Meticulous attention to detail Strong analytical skills Effective time management abilities Demonstrated team collaboration experience Professional interpersonal communication skills Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and technologies Commitment to upholding ethical standards Strong organizational skills Basic understanding of legal research methodologies Relevant certifications or licenses related to paralegal studies or legal assistance. Compensation Range: $75,000 - $85,000 USD The base salary or hourly range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to; prior relevant experience, business needs and market factors. Additionally, salary wages are only part of the total compensation package.
