You'll lead sourcing, valuation, negotiation, and execution of acquisitions, while collaborating closely with executive leadership, investors, and integration teams to ensure strategic alignment and post-close success. Key Responsibilities
Lead Full Acquisition Lifecycle
Oversee sourcing, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of M&A transactions. Build and Manage Target Pipeline
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic and tuck-in acquisition opportunities in behavioral health and healthcare services. Drive Financial Analysis and Risk Assessment
Conduct financial modeling, ROI analysis, and risk evaluation aligned with board and investment criteria. Oversee Cross-Functional Due Diligence
Manage operational, financial, clinical, and compliance due diligence with internal teams and external advisors. Negotiate and Present Deals to Leadership
Structure and negotiate deal terms in partnership with the CEO and board; present opportunities and strategic fit to senior leadership. Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in human services, finance, business administration, or a related field. Preferred: MBA. Experience: Required: Ten (10) years of progressive experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking, or corporate development, with a strong track record in healthcare services. Required: Demonstrated success in executing add-on acquisitions, particularly in founder-led or fragmented markets. Required: Strong financial acumen, with understanding of valuation, deal structuring, and capital deployment. Required: Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, reimbursement, and operational dynamics. Preferred: Behavioral health experience, including knowledge of clinical models, licensure, payor landscapes, and regulatory issues.
